Every entryway is different. Working closely with our client, we suggest the best course of action to maintain the authentic historic character of the entryway by looking at the surrounding neighborhood, the design of the entryway, and the condition of the existing woodwork. If we find that the door is not the original design for the building we will recommend replacing it with a historically accurate design. Our work is often granted administrative approval, eliminating the need to attend Architectural Commission hearings.
